Sweet gardener

An illustration I did a while ago. My brother - theoriginalgardener - was telling me about gardening tips and I thought it could be quite sweet to illustrate a friendly gardener in Autumn. (he hasn't any likeness with my brother tho!)

Animal bags - sacs à bêtes

It has been a while I did these bags but I wanted to have a nice picture before posting them. We did a good deal with Rachel (a great photographer www.rachelwhiting.co.uk) I gave her the elephant bag for a nice shot of it. Here it is! and all the other ones below. They are 40x40cm beige cotton bags and creatures are made of felt, fabric and accesories. I used fabric paint to write the words. If anyone is interested, I sell them for £23 - 35euros except the cat which is £25 - 37euros as it has design on the back too! (as shown on pic-please click for better quality)

Oiseau - paperweight

I did this bird ages ago in clay and painted it with acrylic paint. To dress
him a little, I made him printed paper beads necklace and glued a beige embroidered flower underneath his belly. Because it is quite heavy, it works perfectly as a paperweight!

Gift for my little friend Dylan

For my last birthday in Januray my lovely friend Snez gave me a little canvas to do a bit of painting. I didn't really know what I could draw on it until the day in last April where Snez gave birth to the cutest little boy, Dylan. He is a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e. Then, I thought it could be quite sweet to use the canvas as a gift birth and illustrate a little cat for the tiny baby...

Eurostar's tablecloth

I have been lucky enough to travel once in a Eurostar 1st class coach. We had a nice dinner on board and I they brought our meal with a lovely tissue paper tablecloth set such as coasters, placemats with printed or embossed designs...

Birdies

Bisou-Bijou - new hobby

I have been doing a bit of cleaning in my workshop last weekend and forgot about a "confection de bijous" (=jewelery) box with lots of nice beads and pearls. I really enjoyed making those little things:Here are a sparkling brooch on a dark turquoise embroidered flower. Two antique buttons for a lovely pair of earings (on bird cage). One necklace with lilac ribbon bow and bead on beige embroidered flower. And finally, a sweet necklace with pink satin bow and little pale pink elephant button (that I used to wear on a pink hand knitted jumper when I was little :)

New life, new name, new start!

Now, the time has come that my blog has to behave like a real one. I have removed all my previous posts and will start again from scratch to make it better. I had a few major changes in my life 3 weeks ago, such as getting married :), having a new name, beginning a new life, so there isn't any most appropriate moment to give my blog another go!! So here we go!
